PALACE SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT NAMES THE VITAMIN OUTLET OFFICIAL VITAMIN/SUPPLEMENT SUPPLIER FOR THE PISTONS AND VIPERS

WALLED LAKE, MI-The Vitamin Outlet was recently named the official supplier of vitamins and supplements for Palace Sports and Entertainment, including the Detroit Pistons and Detroit Vipers. The Vitamin Outlet will supply vitamins, supplements, energy drinks and energy bars to both teams.

The first Vitamin Outlet store was opened in Livonia in 1994 by David Farber, founder and president of the popular chain. Based in Walled Lake, MI, the chain currently has locations in Southfield, Livonia, Ferndale, Belleville, Commerce, Southgate, Dearborn, Bloomfield Hills, Ann Arbor, and a new one in Warren. Further expansion throughout Metro Detroit is being planned for 2000.

The Vitamin Outlet is moving its corporate headquarters and warehouse to a new 15,000 square foot facility on West Road in Wixom to accommodate strong growth. The move is expected to be complete by end of October 2000.
